Based in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Worlington CC celebrated its bicentenary year in 2014.
The club is an integral part of the local community and is actively involved in fundraising, promoting sports for children and supporting countless local events that take place throughout the year.
It is undeniable that the local community relationship is a key part of the club’s continued success and growth.
The club’s own investment of time and organisation into events and fundraisers is repaid in kind by the local community supporting the club, be it through direct donations, helping out with events or simply visiting with family.
We run 3 Saturday Men's teams that compete in Division 1, 5 and 9 of the Two Counties cricket league, so are able to offer Saturday cricket for all abilities.
Alongside our Saturday Men's teams we also have a Sunday academy team that competes in the Hunts County Suffolk league.
We are able to cater for any Ladies that would like to join our club as we run a Ladies team that plays 20 over cricket on a Sunday morning in the West Suffolk Ladies Development League.
We have a very successful Junior section at the club with teams playing in U9, U11, U13 and U17 local junior leagues. Our training night for all ages groups is Friday evenings throughout the summer where we welcome children aged 4 to 15 years old with separate girls only groups.
Of course, as a cricket club, we are always keen on building our squad strength and match performance, but along with that, we have now taken significant steps forward in terms of achieving Clubmark status and formulating a very successful youth training programme. We are very proud of our progress in both of these areas.

We also throw a pretty good Beer & Cider Festival on the August Bank Holiday each year, a major fundraiser for the club.
Worlington CC has been awarded ECB Clubmark status
This is a great achievement and recognised that Worlington CC has adopted processes to ensure the efficient running of the Club and means that good practices are in place to ensure we can deliver a quality cricketing experience in a vibrant and sustainable club environment.

ECB Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for cricket clubs which shows that a club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members. Clubmark accreditation also means your club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their young people.
Worlington CC is committed to providing an environment that is safe, welcoming, inclusive and friendly for everyone to enjoy their cricket. We are committed to the welfare of players, coaches, volunteers across all levels of the club and we continue to adopt and abide by all guidelines with the ECB Safe Hands Policy.

Advertising space is available at the club with signage options available around the ground. These will be on display for the duration of the season running April - September.
