About Worlington Cricket Club
Based in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Worlington has had a cricket club for simply far too many decades to recall!
The club is an integral part of the village community and is actively involved in fundraising, promoting sports for children and supporting countless local events that take place throughout each year.
It is undeniable that local community relationship is a key part of the club's continued success and growth.
The club's own investment of time and organisation into events and fundraisers is repaid by in kind by residents supporting the club, be it through direct donations, helping out with league game teas or simply visiting with family.
Of course, as a cricket club, we are ever-keen on building our squad strength and match performance, but along with that, we have now taken significant steps forward in terms of achieving Clubmark status and formulating a very successful youth training programme. We are very proud of our progress in both of these areas.
