ECB Clubmark status update - February 2009
The club recently had a visit from the Suffolk cricket development officer, to check on the clubs progress with clubmark.
The development officer was very impressed with our progress and has set us a few tasks to achieve between now and the start of the season which includes re writing the club constitution, sending out: membership forms, club code of conduct and junior code of conduct to all members.
Once we have achieved these tasks he will then re visit us and arrange for us to have an assessment on part 1 of club mark.
If we pass this assessment we will then begin to start a cricket development plan which includes setting club mission statement, objectives and a review of club facilities and members.
IMPORTANT: Next E.G.M
The club will be holding an E.G.M on Monday 6th April at 8pm at the pavilion.
The E.G.M has been called as the committee have had to amend the club constitution in order for the club to achieve clubmark status and this requires an E.G.M to be called so the constitution can be signed off.
